An air conditioning system water line malfunction on the roof of Dougherty Engineering Building overnight caused significant water damage to offices and classrooms.
The building is closed today. Employees who work in Dougherty should check with their supervisor to see if they should report elsewhere or go home. Those sent home will be on administrative leave. Employees should check this Web site for updates.
Employees who need to retrieve valuable items from the building should report to the fourth-floor entrance off Middle Drive where workers will escort them in if possible.
