The University of Tennessee Libraries is enhancing its virtual presence. The campus community is invited to participate in short programs that teach ways to increase efficient searching, use interactive features in library Web pages, and retrieve high-quality content. Short presentations will be followed by discussions with the Virtual Library Steering Committee.

Programs will take place every Wednesday from noon to 1 p.m. in 605 Hodges Library, beginning Wednesday, Feb. 18. On that day, Dean of Libraries Barbara Dewey will discuss library goals for developing an enhanced and integrated Web presence. Future weekly program topics will also be announced in advance of each meeting.

If you would like to be appointed to the Virtual Library Steering Committee, contact Linda Phillips at llphillips@utk.edu.
