The UT Downtown Gallery is featuring the photography exhibit, Baldwin Lee: Photographs of New York, now through Sept. 20.
Baldwin Lee initiated the photography program at the UT School of Art in 1982 and has been honored with the UT National Alumni Outstanding Teacher Award and the Chancellor’s Excellence in Teaching Award. His photography has been supported by the John Simon Guggenheim Foundation Fellowship and two National Endowment for the Arts Fellowships.
Lee’s work has been included in the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art and the Museum of the City of New York.
The gallery is located next to the Emporium Building at 106 South Gay St. and is open 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Saturday.
