Beginning today, all employees will receive the daily Tennessee Today e-mail.
"Our employees are UT Knoxville’s greatest resource," said Interim Chancellor Jan Simek. "Employees, in turn, are empowered by good communication."
Simek encourages all Knoxville area employees to "take full advantage" of the award-winning Tennessee Today communications services — which include this daily e-mail news, the Web site tntoday.utk.edu and the page printed every Tuesday in The Daily Beacon. Tennessee Today covers topics of special interest to employees — road closings, the Fall Festival employee appreciation event, discounts, health insurance and sick leave policies and other human resource-related issues.
"This is news all staff and faculty need to know," Simek said.
