KNOXVILLE — Congressman Zach Wamp (R- Tennessee) will present the first Baker Center Address on Energy Policy at 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 29 at the Clarence Brown Theater. The event is free and open to the public.

Wamp serves as co-chair of the Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Caucus and is the Energy and Technology Subcommittee Chairman of the Policy Committee.
He was instrumental in the recent energy legislation that advances energy efficient technologies and protects the environment by increasing our use of renewable energy sources. He is now in his 11th year in Congress. A Chattanooga native, Wamp spent 12 years as a small businessman and commercial real estate broker before election to Congress. He and his wife, Kim, have two teenage children and live in Chattanooga.
