KNOXVILLE — The University of Tennessee Cultural Attractions Committee has announced its schedule for the Spring semester.

All shows will begin at 8 p.m.

Feb. 29, Sweet Honey in the Rock (co-sponsored by the Women’s Coordinating Council) in the Alumni Memorial Auditorium.

March 2, the Martha Graham Dance Ensemble at the Clarence Brown Theater.

March 17, Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Afro-Latin Jazz Orchestra with Arturo O’Farrill, music director, in Alumni Memorial Auditorium.

March 23 and 24, Moscow Festival Ballet presents Cinderella at the Bijou Theater.
March 30, Jon Nakamatsu, in the Alumni Memorial Auditorium.

April 14, Vega String Quartet and William Ransom at Alumni Memorial Auditorium.

Ticket prices range from $15-$20. UT students may purchase tickets to any performance for $5. Tickets are available at all Tickets Unlimited locations, the University Center and Thompson Boling Arena.

“The Cultural Attractions Committee strives to bring a diverse group of artists from both music and dance to the university and Knoxville community,” said Sylvia Arriaga, chairperson of the Cultural Attractions Committee.

“We hope that this semester’s line-up enables people to experience new cultural attractions and more fully enjoy the world of music and dance.”
