KNOXVILLE — Students from other colleges and universities can learn more about transferring to the University of Tennessee at a transfer counseling day set for March 8.

The UT Transfer Fair will be held 3-6 p.m. in 220-221 University Center.

The event is open to anyone interested in attending UT. Advisors from all 10 UT academic colleges and counselors from UT financial aid, evening school and admissions departments will be available to answer questions and assist students in making the transition to UT.

The fair is geared to help transfer students determine which courses are equivalent to those at UT, which will transfer as general elective credit, and which will not transfer.

It also will provide information about articulation agreements, which allow students to complete a prescribed course of study to enter a guaranteed degree program in specific majors.

For more information call Heather Hatfield, UT Admissions, at 865-974-2184.
