11:00 a.m. Nobel Prize winner Dr. James M. Buchanan will deliver the pre-inaugural lecture -The UT That Yet Might Be,- in the University Center Auditorium. Dr. Buchanan won the 1986 Nobel Prize in economics. He earned a master-s degree in economics from UT-Knoxville in 1941. Learn more here
