KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Brent Byrd, Kingston, Tenn., is winner of the 1998 Outstanding Senior Maintenance and Reliability Engineering Intern award at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville.
The award is from the Maintenance and Reliability Center in the UT-Knoxville College of Engineering and comes with a $1,000 scholarship funded by the Instrument Society of America and the Welding and Testing Technology Exhibition and Conference (WATTEC).
The award and scholarship is based on intern performance, academic record, and an essay on maintenance and reliability engineering.
