KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Training sessions are scheduled for qualified persons interested in becoming approved family mediators under rules of the Tennessee Supreme Court.

The sessions, offered through University of Tennessee Community Programs, are open to attorneys, social workers and professionals in the fields of mental health, community service, human resources and criminal justice.

Training will be offered here and in Clarksville. Knoxville training dates are May 15-17 and May 22-24. Clarksville dates are June 5-7 and June 12-14.

Registrants must have either a postgraduate degree or a certified public accountant designation and four years experience in counseling, psychology, psychiatry, social work, education, law or accounting.
