KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Three Marion County students are recent recipients of scholarships from the University of Tennessee National Alumni Association.
The recipients:
— Brook C. Hibbs, 504 Oak Ave., South Pittsburg, earned a $1,500 valedictorian scholarship at UT-Chattanooga for her accomplishment at South Pittsburg High School. She is the daughter of Charles and Robina Hibbs.
— Rhonda L. Roberts, 17 Kimball Cove Road, Kimball, earned a $1,500 valedictorian scholarship at UT-Knoxville for her accomplishment at Richard Hardy Memorial High School. She is the daughter of Perry and Becky Roberts.
— Gavin M. Thomasson, 679 Caroline Chapel Road, Whitwell, earned a $1,500 freshman scholarship at UT-Knoxville. He is the son of Donald and Juanice Thomasson.
