KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Two Lauderdale County students are recipients of scholarships from the University of Tennessee National Alumni Association.
Maggie Cherry, 807 N. Church St., Halls, earned a $1,500 valedictorian scholarship at UT-Martin for her accomplishment at Halls High School. She is the daughter of Mickey and Linda Cherry.
April Parker, 91 Lynn School Road, Ripley, earned a $1,500 valedictorian scholarship at UT-Knoxville. She is the daughter of Jerry and Elaine Parker.
