KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — University of Tennessee public radio station WUOT-FM, 91.9, takes a look at “End of Life Issues” during its monthly listener call-in program “Dialogue” starting at 3 p.m., Nov. 5.

The program coincides with National Public Radio’s series on “End of Life Issues,” which begins on WUOT at 4 p.m., Nov. 3, with “All Things Considered” host Linda Wertheimer.

In the first segment Wertheimer will lead a panel of experts discussing care for the dying and bereaved. In the second session, at 4 p.m., Nov. 4, Wertheimer begins a documentary on the final months of a woman diagnosed with leukemia.

For WUOT’s call-in show, hosted by Norris Dryer, invited guests include members of two local support groups: Marty Koontz, a chaplain at St. Mary’s Hospital; and local radio and television personality Colvin Idol, who will talk about his experiences taking care of his dying father.
