KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Fall Festivalfor faculty and staff of the University of Tennessee-Knoxville is scheduled from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 23, at the Aquatic Center.

Events include:

 — Retirees’ lunch at 11 a.m. at the Sports Bubble.

 — Scarecrow making and pumpkin carving contests with judging at 1:30 p.m and 2 p.m.

 — Bake-off competition on apple and pumpkin desserts to be judged on appearance and taste at 1 p.m.

 — Bingo from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m at the Sports Bubble.

 — Barbecue lunch with meal ticket from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

 — Tug-of-war, volleyball and whiffle ball contests from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

 — Craft demonstrations.

— Door prizes.

 — Musical entertainment.

 Van service will be provided from 11 a.m. until the end of the picnic with stops at the Agricultural Campus, Aquatic Center, Auxiliary Services Building, Ayers Hall, Claxton Education and Addition, Conference Center, Dunford Hall, Hodges Library, Hoskins Library, Jessie Harris Building, Humanities Building, Law College, Stokely Management Center, Student Services Building and the University Center.
