Dr. Joan Cronan, director of women’s athletics at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, will speak at the Oct. 7 meeting of the Indianapolis chapter of the UT National Alumni Association.
A 6:30 p.m. reception will be followed by dinner at 7:15 p.m. at the Embassy Suites, 3912 Vincennes Rd, Indianapolis.

In 1973, Cronan created and directed the women’s athletics program at the College of Charleston. She came to UT-Knoxville as women’s athletics director in 1983.
