KNOXVILLE, Tenn.– Four Knoxvillians will be among top graduates at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville’s summer commencement Aug. 15.

 Vicki J. Underwood, daughter of Barbara and Harold Underwood, and Linda Marie Wooley tied for top graduate honors in social sciences in the College of Arts and Sciences.

Amy Marie Wilkes, an accounting major and daughter of Tommie Wilkes, has won the honor in the College of Business Administration.

Beverly Wolfenbarger Major, an industrial education major, shared the top spot in the College of Human Ecology with Sharon M. Johnson, Chattanooga, and Cynthia A. Watson, Albuquerque, N.M., both child development majors.

 Top graduates have the highest academic average in their college. They will be recognized at the commencement ceremony, set for 9 a.m. in Thompson-Boling arena.

Other summer top graduates, hometown, major and college are: James W. Farrar, Shelbyville, plant and soil sciences, agricultural sciences and natural resources.

 Claire Ann Mizne of Memphis, College Scholars, arts and sciences; Stuart R. Pickrell, Signal Mountain, geology, arts and sciences.

Bradley A. Cleveland, Morristown, sociology, arts and sciences; Jo’Loreal Guy, Germantown, broadcasting, communications.

 Eileen Carol McHale, Pompano Beach, Fla., special education, education; Curtis James Fox, Clinton, industrial engineering, engineering; Jeffrey C. James, Maryville, nursing, nursing.
