KNOXVILLE, Tenn.– Rickey McCurry is the interim vice chancellor of development and alumni affairs at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville.
McCurry will hold the post until a permanent replacement for Jack Williams is named, UT-Knoxville Chancellor Bill Snyder said Wednesday.
Williams became vice president for development and alumni affairs for the UT system June 1.
McCurry came to UT-Knoxville in August, 1995 as associate vice chancellor. He previously was assistant vice president for institutional advancement at Meharry Medical College. He earned the bachelor of arts from Lane College and a law degree from North Carolina Central University.
