KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Boys Choir of Harlem will perform at the Tennessee Theater at 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13.

 Under the direction of Dr. Walter J. Turnbull, who founded the choir in 1968, the 35-member touring ensemble performs classical and modern music, popular song, spirituals, gospel and jazz.

 Tickets are available at the University of Tennessee Central Ticket Office, the Rhythm Section in Gatlinburg, Thompson-Boling Arena and Tickets Unlimited outlets, or by calling (423)656-4444.

Prices are $5 for UT students, $10 for UT faculty and staff and $12 for the general public.

 The concert is sponsored by the UT’s Black Cultural Programming Committee and the Cultural Attractions Committee.
