KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The University of Tennessee board of trustees will meet here Oct. 24-25, board secretary Beauchamp Brogan announced Tuesday.
Board committees begin meeting at noon Thursday, Oct. 24. The full board convenes at 9 a.m. Friday, Oct. 25, in the board room of Andy Holt Tower.
The agenda includes 1997-98 capital outlay projects to be submitted to the Tennessee Higher Education Commission and a proposed technology fee at UT-Knoxville.
The trustees also will consider establishing several new academic programs at UT-Chattanooga and UT-Memphis.
The Thursday committee meetings, their times and locations, are:
* Health affairs, noon, dining rooms C and D of Thompson-Boling arena.
* Academic, 1:30 p.m., board room, Andy Holt Tower.
* Finance, 3 p.m., board room, Andy Holt Tower.
Following the Friday meeting, board members will attend the luncheon for Roddy trustees and Roddy scholarship recipients in the University Center.
