KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Dr. Schuyler W. Huck, a University of Tennessee-Knoxville distinguished service professor in educational counseling and psychology, has been elected president of the American Educational Research Association’s special interest group for educational statisticians.

The group focuses on ways to improve the instruction of statistics. Huck will be program chair for the group’s part of the AERA 1992 convention and then serve as president in 1993.

Dr. Jan R. Williams, professor and head of the accounting and business law department at UT-Knoxville, has received a one-year appointment as an adviser on professional development at Ernst & Young.

Williams, an Ernst & Young professor at UT, will spend the year at the firm’s national headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio.
