Architecture Professor’s Proposal Honored for Outreach and Engagement

An associate professor of architecture has received a national award for his exemplary engagement and outreach scholarship. This was one of six granted in the nation. Thomas K. Davis’s program, which focuses on outreach partnerships in greater Nashville, was selected by a panel of university engagement administrators through the C. Peter Magrath Community Engagement Award.

UT Earns National Honors for Community Outreach Program, New Norris House

A Nashville-based community outreach program and the design and construction of the New Norris House have garnered national recognition for UT architecture faculty. The Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture, an organization that annually honors architectural educators for exemplary work, has honored UT for having best practices in school-based community outreach programs and design-build projects.
