High school students are invited to travel back in time to explore the history and culture of the Middle Ages during the Marco Madness Medieval Faire from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m Saturday, April 2.
A history professor will explore the effect of Islam on Christian Europeans—and by extension the West in general—during the next “Conversations and Cocktails” talk on Tuesday, February 2.
As part of Faculty Appreciation Week, meet Michelle Brown, Tom Burman, Witek Nazarewicz, and Althea Murphy-Price from the College of Arts and Sciences. Brown is an assistant professor of sociology, Burman is head of the Department of History, Nazarewicz is a professor of physics, and Murphy-Price is an assistant professor of art.
