The Pregame Showcase—the popular faculty lectures held on campus two hours before each home football game—will be on hiatus until Phase II of the new Student Union construction is completed.

Twenty-five years ago Lynn Champion, director of communications for the College of Arts and Sciences, founded a lecture series before home football games featuring talks by faculty from the college. From 1989 through 2014, Champion organized and staffed the Pregame Showcase, never missing a lecture.
