UT is expanding its commitment to making higher education more affordable and accessible across Tennessee with the announcement of 14 additional high schools that are now part of the Flagship Scholarship program.

UT surprised some new Vols with admissions offers on visits to Austin-East, Fulton and Central High Schools. Nine high school seniors were admitted to the university as members of the Class of 2027.

Two students from Central High School were surprised with their acceptance letters to the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, on February 10. Ander Van Dyke and Laci Sheddan were welcomed into the Volunteer family by Chancellor Donde Plowman and others.
