Student-Athletes Launch Sports Fest for Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities
UT student-athletes will partner with campus and local community organizations from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, April 30, to present the first-ever UT Sports Fest, an event to promote inclusion of persons with disabilities in sports. The free event will be held at the Robert E. White Indoor Field in UT’s Anderson Training Center.
UT Students Use Spring Break for Volunteering, Learning across the Southeast
UT students will volunteer in five communities during next week’s spring break. This semester’s Alternative Break trips will round out the 188th trip in the program’s history. Campus Events Honoring Martin Luther King Jr.
The university is closed Monday in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Several events honoring the achievements of the late civil rights leader will be happening around campus.
UT to Co-Host Candlelight Tribute at Odd Fellows Cemetery August 12
To commemorate Emancipation Day and honor the slavery-era men and women buried in Odd Fellows Cemetery, the College of Architecture and Design and the Knoxville ReAnimation Coalition will co-host an Illumination Tribute at 7:30 p.m. Friday, August 12.

Students Travel to Prague for Spring Break Service Immersion Experience
Eleven students and three staff members will spend six days over spring break exploring issues of international social justice and human trafficking in Prague, Czech Republic.
