A desire to improve learning and foster more student interaction is driving the renovations of the Humanities and Social Sciences Building. The work is already under way and will kick into high gear once the spring semester ends. It will continue through the summer.
Faculty and students returning to classrooms in the Humanities and Social Sciences building will find some classrooms and almost all hallways stripped of floor tiles and carpets—all in preparation for a major renovation that will be completed this summer.
Beginning Monday, Dec. 13, utility work on campus will result in road closures and lane restrictions. Portions of Chamique Holdsclaw Drive, Phillip Fulmer Way and Estabrook Road will close throughout the week for utility and electrical work.
