On November 18, the Volunteer community will join together for Big Orange Give, UT’s annual day of giving. This year’s goal is to raise $2.5 million in 24 hours to benefit students, faculty, and the campus community.
The University of Tennessee, Knoxville’s Join the Journey campaign closed in July with a record $1.33 billion in contributions, having exceeded its goal of $1.1 billion two years early.
More than 50,000 donors chose to contribute to the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and their support has helped UT continue its legacy as a top-tier public research university as well as supporting student success.
Final numbers are in, and UT exceeded its Big Orange Give goal and set a new record, raising $2.55 million in just 24 hours. That amount represents 114 percent of the initial goal of $2.25 million.
