Alumni, fans, and the community now have a new way to support student scholarships at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, all while riding with Volunteer pride through the release of a new specialty license plate.
Offered by the Office of Alumni Affairs, the new plate requires a $35 deposit and is available to all Tennessee residents. Pre-registration for the license plate is available online now through August 15, 2020. The pre-registration phase will end at 1,000 plate orders for production to be started.
“The new license plate offers anyone in the state of Tennessee the chance to not only show his or her pride for UT but also to be invested in the lives of our students by giving to student scholarships,” said Chip Bryant, vice chancellor for advancement. “The scholarships funded through the license plate will have a lasting impact on our students for years to come.”
Plate orders will not be offered unless at least 1,000 pre-orders are placed and those reserved orders are fulfilled. For more information on the plate or to pre-order, visit alumni.utk.edu/licenseplate.
