Haslam College of Business

The undergraduate program in the UT Haslam College of Business placed 27th in the nation among public universities in rankings of top business schools released today by Poets and Quants. The college also rose in the national rankings to 63rd among all institutions.

Lane Morris, associate dean of undergraduate studies and student affairs and the Ergen Professor in Business, said the ranking reflects the college’s dedication to preparing students for the business world.

“Our students’ ability to successfully step into professional business roles immediately upon graduation is the real measure of our educational efforts,” Morris said. “This ranking is an outgrowth of our continued commitment to equipping our students to embody all that is possible in the business world.”

The 2020 list marks the fourth time Poets and Quants has ranked undergraduate business programs in the United States. It is based on a survey of business school alumni regarding their college’s admission standards, their academic experiences, and their employment outcomes, as well as data surveys completed by members of the academic institutions.
