UT’s Howard Baker Jr. Center for Public Policy will become the new official home of the International Studies Quarterly.
Previously housed at Georgetown University, the academic journal will now be co-edited by Krista Wiegand, director of the Baker Center’s Global Security Program, and Brandon Prins, a faculty fellow with the Center.
Sojeong Lee, a post-doc with the Center, will act as an editorial assistant, and Simon Rotzer, a PhD candidate, and Greta Roberts, a Baker Ambassador, will also help support the journal’s publication.
ISQ is the flagship journal of the International Studies Association (ISA), one of the oldest interdisciplinary associations dedicated to understanding international, transnational and global affairs. It is published by Oxford University Press.
“The journal is well respected in the field receiving over 650 submissions last year but accepting fewer than 10 percent of them,” said Katie Cahill, associate director of the Baker Center.
