The School of Architecture in UT’s College of Architecture and Design has been ranked in the Design Futures Council’s 2019 DesignIntelligence report as a “Most Admired” school.
In the report, the undergraduate architecture program ranks 16th among public universities and 33rd among public and private universities.
DesignIntelligence is the preeminent source of rankings for design programs. The Design Futures Council’s annual report ranks undergraduate and graduate programs from the perspective of professional practice leaders with direct experience hiring and supervising recent architecture and design graduates.
Using new criteria in 2019, the rankings are based on hiring professionals’ perceptions of the most admired programs, the programs from which they hire the most graduates, and the performance of recent graduates in 12 key focus areas. The report ranks architecture, interior architecture, and landscape architecture schools.
This is the fourth time the college has been ranked by DesignIntelligence in recent years.
