Hurricane Irma

UT is collecting money to support relief efforts for areas devastated by Hurricane Irma.

Tennessee Volunteers are known for lending a helping hand or offering assistance to those in need. Right now many communities are in the midst of a terrible disaster and could use your support.

We encourage you to donate on the university’s Hurricane Irma relief effort VOLstarter fundraising page.

The university will determine the best organizations to donate raised money to that will provide the best immediate and long-term assistance.

The university is not collecting material donations. If a specific need is identified, we will update our Volunteer community of opportunities.

Hurricane Harvey

UT is continuing to collect donations for Hurricane Harvey relief efforts.

We encourage you to donate on the university’s Hurricane Harvey VOLstarter relief effort fundraising page. Monetary donations will be accepted online until Friday, September 29.

Donations will go directly to the Cougar Emergency Fund to support students at the University of Houston who have been directly impacted by Hurricane Harvey.

As of September 6, more than $14,000 has been raised.

For Those Affected by the Hurricanes
