“Our development and alumni relations team has been pivotal to the growth of the college,” said Stephen L. Mangum, dean of the college and Stokely Foundation Leadership Chair. “We are confident that Seth will add to the capabilities of the team in furthering its excellent performance.”

Reagan previously served as UT’s development officer for middle Tennessee, a position he has held since 2010. He steps into the role vacated when Chip Bryant was recently appointed as UT’s vice chancellor for development and alumni affairs.

Reagan has a lengthy history in development for both the college and the university. Prior to his tenure with the foundation in Nashville, Reagan served on Haslam’s development team as a director for three years.

“It’s great to come back to Knoxville and advocate for a college I know and love so well,” Reagan said. “The Haslam College of Business has grown so much over the past few years. I’m excited to continue that drive and help make my alma mater an even stronger institution.”

Reagan is a two-time graduate of the college, having earned his bachelor’s degree in finance in 2002 and his MBA in 2004. He was a member of the 1998 national championship Vols football team during his undergraduate years and was recognized for Academic All-SEC honors.

In the past five years, the development staff at the Haslam College of Business has secured the largest contributions in the college’s history, significantly grown its number of donors, obtained a naming-level gift and established a pattern of early philanthropic giving by recent graduates and young alumni.
