During their meeting on June 21-22, the Board of Trustees approved a historic low tuition increase, discussed the findings of a special, independent Title IX Commission, and approved the 2018 operating budget which includes salary increases. Among other highlights are the naming of the Boyd Family Track and Field Center to honor Jenny and Randy Boyd at UT Knoxville, and resolutions honoring former trustees Miranda Rutan and Jefferson Rogers, former UT Institute of Agriculture Chancellor Larry Arrington, and former UT Vice President for Academic Affairs Katie High.
