The Student Union will close from 7 a.m. Monday, May 15, through 8 a.m. Wednesday, May 17, as part of the construction work on Phase 2 of the building. During the closure, all electricity will be switched off. The Center for Career Development will be closed during the power outage. However, students who need to contact the center can email utcareer@utk.edu or leave a voicemail at 865-974-5435 and Career Development staff will respond as soon as possible.
Other closings include the VolShop, VolBooks, VolTech, VolSnacks and UT Dining options including Starbucks, Subway, Qdoba, Chik-Fil-A, Panda Express, and Salad Creations. The Stadium Team Shop and VolShop branch locations at Cumberland Avenue and at the University Commons will be open.
Available campus dining options during the outage include the Subway in Fred Brown Hall, the Chik-Fil-A in the Presidential Court Building, the Starbucks in Hodges Library, Einstein’s Bagels in the Haslam College of Business, and Mabel’s in McCord Hall on the agriculture campus.
