The UT Police Department will host its annual Memorial Golf Tournament at the Three Ridges Golf Course at 12:30 p.m. Friday, June 9.
Registration is now open for the tournament, which is in its 10th year.
The tournament funds the UTPD Memorial Scholarship, which was established in honor of UTPD Officer Ben Bohanan. The fund also recognizes other deceased officers, including Steven Orlan Nelson and Fred Jack Holt.
The fund benefits the children of officers, past and present, and enables them to attend UT.
The event is $100 per player or $400 per four-player team. This cost of entry includes a catered dinner, green fees with cart, range balls, refreshments, and prizes. Additionally, sponsorship opportunities are available: hole sponsorships are $250 and cart sponsorships are $100 for a business or $25 for an individual.
