In February 2009, Jimmy G. Cheek stepped onto UT’s campus as its seventh chancellor. Eight years later, the impact of his leadership can be seen and felt throughout Rocky Top.
The campus community is invited to a reception hosted by John Zomchick, interim provost and senior vice chancellor, from 3:30 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, February 8, to thank Chancellor Cheek and wish him well as he joins the faculty. The reception will be held on the Tennessee Terrace, which is on the third floor of the Neyland Stadium Skybox.
