Kari Alldredge, formerly associate provost for enrollment management, has been named vice provost for enrollment management.
Interim Provost and Senior Vice Chancellor John Zomchick announced the appointment, which became effective January 1.
“Kari’s leadership has been critical in meeting our enrollment management goals. She and our admissions team have expanded our recruitment efforts across Tennessee and in key markets around the country, helping us admit and enroll three record-setting freshman classes and boosting our efforts to recruit and serve transfer students,” Zomchick said. “Her new title recognizes her successes and ensures that building an outstanding undergraduate student body will continue to be a priority under Vol Vision 2020.”
Alldredge began serving as admissions director in June 2013. She became interim associate provost for enrollment management in June 2015 and took that position permanently in March 2016.
Before coming to UT, Alldredge was senior associate director of undergraduate admissions at Oklahoma State University.
Alldredge has a bachelor’s degree in public communication from the University of Idaho and a master’s degree in strategic communication and leadership from Seton Hall University.
