The College of Communication and Information honored a notable graduate from each of its schools and programs at its campaign kickoff and award gala on Friday. The gala also launched the public phase of the college’s $15 million fundraising campaign.
Sandra MacQuillan, chief supply chain officer at Kimberly-Clark, was honored with the first-ever Distinguished Women in Supply Chain award at last week’s Supply Chain Forum at the Haslam College of Business. The award was presented by the college’s Nexxus group, an organization launched by female supply chain students and faculty at last year’s forum.
A $4 million fellowship program will help UT recruit the best and brightest graduate students from around the world. The Tennessee Fellowship for Graduate Excellence, administered by the Graduate School, will debut in the fall of 2017 as the university’s premier graduate fellowship program.
