It’s almost football time in Tennessee! Big Orange Tix, the university’s student ticketing system, has some important information about the upcoming Battle at Bristol game against Virginia Tech on Saturday, September 10.
Big Orange Tix will sell the second round of tickets starting at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 16. Tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
August 16
Ticket sales begin at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 16, and end at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 17. Students that were not eligible during the spring ticket sales, but are now eligible for the fall 2016 semester, will be able to access the system and purchase during this time. This includes new first-year students, new graduate students, new transfer students, or students that were studying abroad or in a cooperative program during the spring 2016 semester. Anyone that was eligible during the spring 2016 semester will not be able to purchase at this time.

August 18
If tickets remain after August 17, the system will then open at 9:00 a.m. Thursday, August 18, to everyone that is eligible for fall 2016 semester, including those that missed a claim period during the spring 2016 semester. No guest tickets will be sold at this time. The system will close at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, August 21.
August 22
Any remaining tickets will go to open sales starting at 9:00 a.m. Monday, August 22, and guest tickets will be sold if any are still available.
