The UT community is saying thank you to its graduate and professional students during its annual Graduate and Professional Student Appreciation Week, Monday, April 4, through Friday, April 8.

The week will include professional development opportunities, social activities, and special events to celebrate the contributions made by graduate and professional students.

Faculty and staff can express their thanks by providing a special activity for graduate and professional students in their departments on Love Your Graduate and Professional Student Day, Wednesday, April 6. Last year, some departments provided students with a meal and some held seminars. You could also compose a letter expressing your appreciation for their contributions.

Whatever you choose to do for your students, please share the information with Ferlin McGaskey, assistant director of the Tennessee Teaching and Learning Center, fmcgaske@utk.edu, so it can be included on the Graduate School website.
