Knoxville-area faculty, staff, and retirees are invited to the Picnic on the Plaza, to be held from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 22. The picnic will be held in Thompson-Boling Arena due to the threat of inclement weather. Picnic on the Plaza, hosted by Chancellor Jimmy G. Cheek with support from the Institute of Agriculture, the Institute for Public Service, and President Joe DiPietro, is a special event to celebrate UT’s faculty and staff and thank them for their service.
