UT students will have the opportunity to showcase a variety of cultures during a talent show at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 1.
The community is invited to the international talent show, “Fifteen Minutes of Fame” in the Cox Auditorium of the Alumni Memorial Building. The event is free and open to the public.
Students will showcase the cultures of languages they study at UT through music, songs, dances, and recitals. First, second, and third place awards will be given by judges who will evaluate the performances based on audience response, stage presence and appearance, originality, and overall performance.
Eight language programs are participating, each with a fifteen-minute window for presentations. Prize drawings will take place throughout the show.
The event is sponsored by the Department of Modern and Foreign Languages and Literatures.
