Izetta Slade, human resources officer and director of extension evaluation and staff development at the UT Institute of Agriculture, has been named associate director in the UT Knoxville Office of Equity and Diversity. She will begin in mid-March.
“I am looking forward to the opportunity to contribute to the valuable work that is already occurring through the Office of Equity and Diversity,” said Slade.
Slade brings over fifteen years of experience in higher education, including work at UT’s Institute for Public Service, UT System Human Resources, and Texas A&M University.
“Izetta’s experience in multiple complex university settings, her human resources experience, plus her knowledge of compliance, training, and investigations, will be a great addition to the Office of Equity and Diversity,” said Associate Vice Chancellor and Director Jenny Richter. “We can’t wait for her to join us.”
Slade earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of South Carolina and a master’s degree in educational human resource development from Texas A&M University.
