Brides magazine recently featured Sandra Thomas, director of the nursing doctoral program at UT, in an article featuring anger thwarting techniques for brides. Thomas has studied women and anger, and advises that stressed brides rehearse an assertive response to a person they’re angry with.

Many times these women do not vocalize their concerns because they fear terrible consequences will follow.

“But unless there’s a problem-solving action taken, all the frustrations are going to continue and you’re going to continue to feel anger,” said Thomas.
