WBIR-TV Channel 10 featured UT’s human trafficking awareness event in this story examining the growing problem of modern day slavery. Undergraduate students in Misty Anderson‘s English 411 class have organized the November 17 inaugural Human Trafficking on Rocky Top event to be held at the  Howard H. Baker Jr. Center for Public Policy. The event grew out of a class discussion about an enslaved African prince in the 1600s, which inspired the students to help stop modern-day human trafficking.
