UT’s Ewing Gallery will host an artist lecture featuring renowned artist Tim Rollins on November 12. Rollins is known for launching the Art and Knowledge Workshop in the Bronx in 1984, with a group of educationally challenged and at-risk students who called themselves K.O.S. (Kids of Survival). His lecture will be at 7:30 p.m. in Room 109 of the Art + Architecture Building. The lecture is sponsored by the Ewing Gallery, VADSCO (Visiting Artists Designers Scholars Committee), UT’s Visual Arts Committee, and UT Painting and Drawing.
