The International Business Times recently featured Raja Swamy in a story about Silicon Valley’s dealings with the nation of India. Swamy, an assistant professor in the Department of Anthropology, joined more than one hundred academics at US universities who have written a letter to tech giants warning them of the risks of doing business with a government that has “demonstrated its disregard for human rights and civil liberties, as well as the autonomy of educational and cultural institutions.” Read the story here.
