Have you ever wondered what types of projects UT Facilities Services manages? Now it’s easier than ever to find out.
The department’s recently created 2015 Summer and Fall Projects Catalog (pdf) details the major tasks completed during summer break and the projects that are slated for this fall.
Facilities Services directly oversees eight units—Administration, Administrative Support Services, Communications and Information Services, Construction Services, Design Services, Facilities Operations, Utilities Services, and Zone Maintenance.
These units are responsible for campus projects that range from landscaping and daily building maintenance to managing major construction and renovation projects. Environmental efforts through Stormwater Management, UT Recycling, and the Office of Sustainability also fall under the scope of Facilities Services.
