The Division of Student Life is asking for nominations for the Courage to Climb award for the 2015-2016 academic year.
As a commitment to celebrating and supporting UT’s outstanding students, the Courage to Climb award seeks to recognize those who show promise in the areas of research, community service, promotion of civility and inclusion, leadership development, and/or campus involvement.
These students are the rising stars of campus and are impacting campus and community in a variety of ways. The Division of Student Life wishes to recognize these students for their contributions to UT and the Knoxville community.
Faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to submit nominations. Based on the nominations received, the Division of Student Life will recognize one student per month beginning in September. Each student will be featured on the Division of Student Life website and will be invited to an end of year recognition event with Vice Chancellor for Student Life Vincent Carilli and Associate Vice Chancellor for Student Life and Dean of Students Melissa Shivers.
Nominations are due by Monday, August 24, to receive full consideration.
